"I refuse to send her on some cynical murder mission!" Larken snapped to Commander Datrik. "      
Knock, Knock. "Come in" Static opened the door to reveal Carmen busily packing her things.  "Your not going."  
"What?!"   "Stop packing. Your not going...Larken's in lockdown....and I'm taking your place in Moscow."

Let me Save You Ch.4Griffyn placed Marie in the lavender room and stood in the door way watching over her. What could he do? Why didn't he save her? Griffyn was lost in his thoughts before realizing something. Where's the boy?  
 
 The autumn was creeping up on the summer leaving the air to be very chilled as Griffyn ran outside. The boy was no where. Inside the castle there was not a sign of him. The matress of the demon room was stained with the young one's blood but he was no longer there then all of a sudden he realized what had happened. She had jumped. He sank to his knee's and let out a roar.

 The Duke's face filled with disappointment as he stood over Marie's lifeless body. She laid in the roses with the boy at her side. "A waist of life...Tsk tsk." he snarled as he pulled her into his arms.

Burning Alive ch1Flames whipped at the sunset as Astird watched the town before her burn. She sat silently with her knees tucked to her chest. The peoples screams and car sirens echoed to her hilltop. She lifted her head slowly to meet Static's eyes with a slight grin of innocent satisfaction. He gave a slight nod and withdrew the flames. Smoke clouded the air and rose into the skyline. She came to her feet and dusted the dirt from her jeans. That was the longest she ever let it go on. So much distruction in such a short time. It wasn't the suffering she enjoyed but the power of the flames and how quickly they could devour everything and leave nothing but ash Burning Alive ch1
